Public Area Attendant

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Public Area Attendant to maintain cleanliness and presentation in public spaces. This role is essential for ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and requires living on Fitzroy Island.

Responsibilities:

• Meet the ferry arrivals and assist with loading and offloading stock/guest luggage.
• Delivery of stock/luggage to the relevant departments or rooms.
• Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, and corridors, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries and paper products in public restrooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of public events as required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly.

Qualifications:

• Driver’s License Essential
• Previous experience in a cleaning or hospitality role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly disposition.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
