Summary:

As a Guest Service Agent at our Fitzroy Island location, you will play a vital role in ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. This temporary, casual position is perfect for individuals looking to start their career in the hospitality and catering industry. You will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service and support to enhance their stay.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Provide information about the hotel facilities, local attractions, and services available.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
  • Assist with reservations and manage bookings as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and welcoming at all times.

Qualifications:

  • No formal education required; however, a high school diploma is preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for providing excellent service.
