F&B Attendant

Summary:

We are looking for a Food & Beverage attendant with experience behind a bar & barista. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. This casual position requires an experienced individual who holds a food safety certificate and is passionate about the service industry.

Responsibilities:

• Bar & Barista experience is crucial, including basic cocktail making.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and organisation.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, maintaining a balanced till.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Respond to guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and specials to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food and beverage service role, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing payments.
• A valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification is preferred.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays.
