We are in search for our next superstar. Positions available include Cooks, Commis, Demi & Chef de Partie. As a Chef you are responsible for supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, delivering consistently high-quality food. Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparations keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques. The successful applicant must have experience in the following areas:
- Providing quality food and presentation of all dishes.
- High volume bistro experience is essential.
- Knowledge of HACCP & experience with WH&S and food safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate relevant food preparation and service knowledge.
- A team player – available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work unsupervised with excellent time management skills.
- Qualifications to meet job specifications is essential.

- Demonstrates hygienic work practices.
- Organises time and work efficiently.
- Works under pressure without negative impact.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Mandatory:
Must have a current National Police Check issued by Queensland Police or able to obtain one within three weeks of commencing employment- for all live on Island staff. Employees whose duties include driving a company vehicle, must hold a current QLD Driver’s License.
