About the Role
As our Quality & Continuous Improvement (Q&CI) Coordinator, you will play a critical role supporting the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and values-driven services across the Fighting Chance Group.
Working closely with the Head of Q&CI, you will help drive audit programs, reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across all business units. You’ll act as a key custodian of quality systems and processes, ensuring they are embedded, effective, and aligned with our values.
Key Responsibilities
Quality, Audit & Continuous Improvement
- Coordinate and support the Practice & Values Verification (internal audit) program, including planning, scheduling, and tracking audits across the organisation
- Identify trends, risks, and systemic issues from audit findings, translating these into actionable insights and improvements
- Maintain and monitor the continuous improvement action register, ensuring actions are prioritised, progressed, and closed out
- Support Q&CI strategy, projects, and initiatives across the organisation.
Reporting & Data Insights
- Lead analysis and reporting of Q&CI data (incidents, complaints, audits, risks)
- Support mandatory reporting (e.g. NDIS Commission), ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Deliver clear insights and recommendations for leadership and Board
- Maintain effective reporting frameworks and data governance.
Quality Systems & Compliance
- Support management of the Quality Management System (QMS), including policies and procedures
- Ensure systems and processes are current, accessible, and aligned with practice
- Provide guidance on NDIS and broader compliance requirements
- Support incident management and continuous improvement
- Assist in embedding risk management practices
Operational & Advisory Support
- Coordinate Q&CI activities and maintain the Q&CI calendar
- Support development of policies, reports, and advisory materials
- Work with business units to embed Q&CI practices
- Collaborate with Clinical, Behaviour Support, and operational teams
Training & Capability Building
- Contribute to Q&CI training materials
- Support delivery of training with the Learning & Development team.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you are:
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
- An excellent communicator who can translate complex information into clear, practical guidance
- Experienced in quality, compliance, audit, or continuous improvement roles (ideally within NDIS or a regulated environment)
- Skilled in working with data, reporting, and business systems
- A strong collaborator, able to build relationships and influence across teams
- Proactive, adaptable, and motivated to drive improvement
Essential
- Relevant qualification and/or at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in Q&CI, compliance, or a related field
- Alignment with the Fighting Chance values
