ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Growth and Client Lead plays a key role in expanding Jigsaw’s impact. This role blends new business development with ongoing relationship stewardship. You’ll identify new opportunities, nurture long term client connections, oversee renewals, and deepen our footprint within existing accounts. It’s a hands-on role for someone who loves people, is energised by growth, and thrives in purpose-driven environments.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Initiate contact with prospects and clients via phone, email and social media
  • Identify and convert new employer and client opportunities for short term engagements and placements.
  • Run discovery conversations to understand workforce gaps, project scope, timelines and suitability for Jigsaw talent.
  • Shape and submit SOWs, proposals and pricing in collaboration with delivery and operations teams.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline across priority sectors including government, corporate and not for profit.
  • Work closely with site and Academy teams to match trainee capability to client demand.
  • Maintain regular check-ins during active engagements or placements to ensure satisfaction and early issue resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact ensuring consistent communication
  • Maintain strong retention rates across employer and business service clients.
  • Leverage CRM software and other tools to track leads, manage customer interactions and analyse sales data
  • Introduce clients to additional Jigsaw services or employment pathways as needs evolve.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A passion for (and/or experience with) working with people with disability.
  • Has demonstrated experience in selling professional services engagements
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Strong desire to get on the phone and set up qualified meetings.
  • Strong understanding of a consultative value selling process.
  • Well developed interpersonal skills including exceptional written and verbal communications.
  • Capable multitasker with ability to manage many workflows at once.
  • Can take initiative and equally take direction where required.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills to juggle multiple clients and competing priorities.
  • High bandwidth for multi-tasking.
  • Natural aptitude for leading a team.

REQUIRED TO:

  • Have a passion for and/or experience with working with people with a disability
  • Have a right to work in Australia
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Workers screening check
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check
  • Possess and maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications
