Scotford Fennessy is continuing to invest in and grow our Corporate Division, and we are looking for an experienced recruiter to take ownership of our Transactional Accounting & Finance desk.
This is not a start-from-scratch opportunity.
This is a defined 360 desk with established foundations, existing relationships, strong market credibility, and genuine growth potential for the right recruiter.
You will step into a desk focused across transactional finance recruitment including:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll
- Assistant Accountants
- Finance Officers
- Administration & transactional finance support
The desk sits within our Professional Team alongside specialists across HR & Recruitment, Senior Accounting & Finance, and Civil & Infrastructure, giving you immediate access to active clients, cross-sell opportunities, and established networks.

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who understands how to build and develop a recruitment desk commercially.
You will ideally bring:
- Previous agency recruitment experience
- Experience within Accounting & Finance recruitment or aligned professional services recruitment
- Strong business development and relationship management capability
- Confidence engaging with dormant, underutilised, or previously under-serviced clients
- Ability to move quickly in market and stay close to candidates
- Strong candidate networking and headhunting capability
- A proactive, resilient, and commercially driven mindset
Proficiency with recruitment CRM systems (e.g., Bullhorn, Adapt) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Ability to manage both permanent recruitment and contractor/client demands

- Develop and execute targeted candidate sourcing strategies to fill transactional accounting and finance roles.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a true 360 recruitment desk
- Building and developing client relationships across transactional finance
- Leveraging existing Scotford Fennessy relationships and networks
- Sourcing and engaging active and passive candidates
- Running end-to-end recruitment processes
- Identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Developing your own market specialisation and portfolio over time
