  • This role leads impactful policy development and drives strategic initiatives that shape Djirra’s advocacy on issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children. You’ll provide high level advice, influence decision making, and champion systemic change through evidence based policy and reform.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for leading complex policy analysis and development, providing high-level strategic advice on legislative reforms, and driving initiatives that shape Djirra’s policy agenda on issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children. The role will aim to influence decision-making at senior levels and contribute to systemic change through the development of evidence-based policy positions and advocacy strategies.

Essential

  • A Victorian Employees Working with Children’s Check card or willing to obtain one
  • Willing to obtain a Police Check at Djirra’s expense

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in a related field is highly desirable.
