Description

Reporting to the State Manager, NSW, the Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships across our full suite of mortgage products. The BDM is will also act as a business coach to your network of brokers and proactively help, guide, and advise their panel of brokers to achieve revenue targets.

Key Activities – You will be responsible for:

• Provide a delightful experience to brokers and their customers brokers in relation to new loan enquiries, applications, or existing loans

• Proactively manage a sales funnel and follow up sales leads and opportunities to completion

• Help educate brokers around all loan opportunities and how it can drive their business growth

• From time to time, support broader business initiatives to improve business performance, efficiencies and broker / customer satisfaction.

Skills & experiences you’ll bring the team:

• Demonstrated excellence in business development, sales and relationship management with proven experience in Mortgage lending and third-party intermediary spaces

• Experience in the banking, non-bank and finance industries, specifically within the broker space

• Current relationships and contacts within the broker market

• Proven experience in growing a panel of brokers

• Proven track record in meeting or exceeding targets

• Working knowledge of the banking industry, Australian housing market, and regulatory environment

• Ability to understand complex industry segments and utilise this understanding to develop initiatives to drive growth

• Understanding of financial reports and demonstrated numerical and statistical analysis skills

• Sound understanding of and experience in project management methodologies
