About the Role
ERS delivers specialised security solutions across critical infrastructure, health, and metro sectors, guided by our ethos of Advice. Assurance. Action. We are seeking an experienced General Manager of Operational Services to lead strategic and operational performance across this growing portfolio.
Reporting to the COO, this role is responsible for leading operations and delivery across Critical Infrastructure, Health, and Metro portfolios. You will drive operational excellence, financial performance, risk management, and crisis readiness while strengthening key client partnerships and supporting continued portfolio growth.
This role integrates specialised security operations, stakeholder engagement, and leadership across complex and critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to Operations and Client Services Managers, driving excellence in client service and outcomes across the security portfolio.
- Ensure operational performance aligns with clients and organisational KPIs, compliance requirements, and targets.
- Oversee portfolio performance, including workforce mobilisation and service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying growth opportunities.
- Contribute to operational strategy, frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide clear operational and portfolio reporting to inform strategic decisions.
About You
- Senior management experience in security, risk, crisis management, or related operational environments.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement.
- Strong operational and financial acumen.
- Proven ability to lead high performing teams.
- Highly organised, solutions-driven, and skilled at managing competing priorities.
- Relevant qualifications in Business, Risk, or Project Management desirable.
- Cert II in Security, National Police Clearance, and current Driver’s Licence required.
