About the Role
Primary responsibilities include:
• Administer and maintain the Document Management System to support governance, accreditation and regulatory compliance
• Support quality assurance and continuous improvement activities, including audits, benchmarking and policy reviews
• Assist with implementation and monitoring of compliance frameworks, including the Higher Education Standards Framework and Excelsia’s Self-Assurance Model
• Coordinate quality-related documentation, training, events and committee support
Selection Criteria
Qualifications and Professional Standing:
• Possession of a relevant degree level qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience/ training.
Essential:
• Committed Christian involved in a local congregation
• Experience (3+ years) working in a quality assurance role or equivalent
• Good understanding of quality assurance systems, and the ability to provide guidance for documentation
• Familiarity with the legislative framework of Australian higher education (would be an advantage)
• Technological literacy in a wide range of desktop applications to support reporting and analysis role requirements
• Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, manage projects and data sets
• Excellent skills in written communication, and demonstrated experience in reviewing and writing reports, submissions and policy documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability in proofreading, fact checking and quality assurance
• Experience in a higher education setting (or equivalent) would be an advantage
