About the Role
Primary responsibilities include:
• Lead coordinated quality systems and best practice initiatives.
• Provide strategic oversight of quality governance and standards compliance.
• Manage institutional quality assurance, Self-Assurance Model reporting, and data systems.
• Oversee course accreditation, registration, and renewal submissions.
• Support staff with training, advice, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Selection Criteria
Qualifications and Professional Standing:
• Possession of a relevant postgraduate degree level qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience/ training.
Essential:
• Committed Christian involved in a local congregation.
• Experience (10+ years) working in a Senior Quality Assurance role in a Higher Education setting role or equivalent.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian higher education regulatory framework and understanding of the systems, structures and services involved in the provision of higher education courses of study.
• Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance, and the ability to provide leadership in the maintenance and documentation of standards and systems.
• Demonstrable experience as strategic thinker with proven ability to both prioritise critical goals and execute strategies in the successful achievement of goals within budget and timeframe constraints.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent skills in written communication, and demonstrated experience in writing reports, submissions and policy documents.
• Demonstrated advanced computer skills, including a strong command of the Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Ability to organise and complete large documentary projects, provide leadership to participants, maintain a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and presentation, and take responsibility for timely submissions and management of records.
• Technological literacy in a wide range of desktop applications to support reporting and analysis role requirements.
