About us:

We are specialised paediatric therapy clinic that provides speech therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy for children. Our approach is niche, fun, focused and it gets results. We’re growing rapidly and require an experienced receptionist to join the team.

This is an exciting opportunity to support a team of passionate therapists who are dedicated to working with children and their families.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced receptionist to join our specialised paediatric therapy clinic in Parramatta, New South Wales. As a receptionist, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinic’s daily operations, managing staff, and handling client interactions. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to support a team of passionate therapists dedicated to working with children and their families.

Skills:

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

– Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

– Attention to detail and accuracy

– Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain front desk and office protocols to ensure smooth operations.

2. Actively perform front desk and reception duties such as answering phone calls, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments.

3. Provide administrative support for staff members and practitioners.

4. Serve as the patient liaison by welcoming new clients, onboarding them into the clinic’s services, managing waitlists.

5. Schedule patient care programs according to therapists’ availability.

6. Handle new patient enquiries by providing information about our services and assisting with appointment bookings.

7. Perform personal administrative tasks including filing documents, data entry, photocopying materials as needed by the team or clinic directors.

8. Manage day-to-day operations of the Sparks clinic including maintaining clinic presentation standards and monitoring stock levels.

Qualifications:

– Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable but not essential; entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.

– A certificate or diploma in business administration or related field is preferred but not required.

– Working with children and their families.

– Possess (or be eligible) for a working with children check (WWCC)
