About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Manager to
provide clinical leadership and governance across our in-home aged care
services.
In this key leadership role, you will oversee a team of Registered
Nurses and clinical staff delivering care to clients in their homes. You will
ensure care is safe, person-centred, and compliant with the Aged Care Act, the
Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, and professional practice
requirements.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will play a
critical role in shaping clinical quality, supporting workforce capability, and
driving continuous improvement across the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support
to Registered Nurses and clinical and Allied Health staff
- Oversee clinical governance, risk management,
incidents, and complaints
- Ensure care planning and delivery is safe,
evidence-based, and person-centred
- Support complex clinical decision-making and
escalations
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and audit
readiness
- Monitor clinical compliance with legislation and
quality standards
- Collaborate with GPs, hospitals, allied health
providers, clients, and families
- Contribute to workforce planning, capability building,
and performance development
- Work in partnership with the Operations Manager to
support service delivery outcomes
About You
You are a confident clinical leader who thrives in a
community-based environment and is passionate about enabling older people to
live well at home.
You will bring:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with
Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Significant clinical experience, including leadership
in aged care, home care, or community health
- Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, quality
standards, and clinical governance
- Experience managing clinical risk, incidents, and
complex care needs
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop clinical teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality
care
Desirable
- Experience with Support at Home or Home Care Package
programs
- Experience using systems such as AlayaCare or similar
client management platforms
- Postgraduate qualifications in aged care, leadership,
or clinical specialty
- Experience working in regulatory or accreditation
environments
