About the Role
We are seeking a Casual Administration Officer to join our team at the Barrier Reef Tourist Park. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our independent living and holiday park community.
Working closely with the Park Manager, you will help ensure smooth, seamless services for both residents and guests. Expected weekly hours: 16- 24 hours.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist the Park Manager with daily administrative tasks including inbox management, scheduling, and correspondence
- Assisting with holiday guest bookings, check-ins, check-outs, and reservations
- Coordinate and maintain accurate records for residents and the village, ensuring data integrity and timely updates
- Prepare documentation for Support Office and support compliance procedures
- Manage office supplies and maintain a well-organised and welcoming front office
- Assist with incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and basic facilities coordination
- Support the planning and execution of village events and community activities
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safety procedures in line with Eureka’s policies
- Contribute to a positive resident experience through warm, professional communication
About You
You’re confident, highly organised, and bring a warm, welcoming presence to the park.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Prior experience in administration or customer service, ideally in a residential, retirement, or tourism accommodation setting
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time management with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A discreet and respectful approach to handling resident and business information
- The ability to satisfy pre-employment checks including a National Police History Check.
