Company Overview

Our story began in 2016. James Joy and David Nicholas took the leap of faith and commenced operations in Sydney as Essence Project Management. They believe by doing the right thing for people, clients, communities and the planet, they are also doing the best thing for their business. Their vision was to build a project management consultancy that reflected these values. Since their humble beginnings, the company has established offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, and has active projects in most major states and territories. Our values are a huge part of our culture. A culture that’s growing to support our business strategy, our people, our clients and community expectations of us. We thrive on challenges, operate on trust, and leverage the diverse perspectives of people on our team in everything we do. A career at Essence means you’ll have the opportunity to develop and utilise new skills and do challenging work that will impact the lives of people and communities, as well as driving change through sustainable practices and a responsible supply chain. At Essence you will be encouraged to examine problems from every angle, challenge the status quo, and come up with new and innovative ways of progressing projects. No matter your background, we are excited to see if you share a similar focus on excellence and innovation.
