Traffic Scheduler

Job description

We’re looking for a highly organised Traffic Scheduler to play a key role in our growing Traffic Control business, keeping operations running smoothly and supporting the delivery of safe, on-time outcomes for our clients.

If you enjoy problem-solving, working with multiple teams, and keeping things moving under pressure, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage daily traffic control bookings using Traffio
• Maintain all administration within Traffio
• Coordinate resources and act as a key point of contact for internal teams
• Communicate with clients to confirm job details and requirements
• Track staff availability, hours, inductions, and compliance (site audits)
• Ensure permits and approvals are obtained, tracked, and distributed
• Participate in a shared (afterhours) on-call roster
• Assist the planning team in TGS preparation as  required
• Provide occasional on-site traffic control support when required

About You

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in traffic management
• Traffic Scheduling or rostering experience preferred
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Experience with Traffio and/or Rapid Plan highly regarded
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Calm, adaptable, and professional under pressure
• Proactive, people-focused approach
• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with valid work rights
