Op Shop Sorter

Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Op Shop Sorter to join our team in Croydon, Victoria. In this casual role, you will play a vital part in managing the sorting and organization of donated goods, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions will directly support our mission to provide quality items to the community while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and customers. Responsibilities: – Sort and categorize donated items for resale in the op shop. – Ensure all items are clean, in good condition, and appropriately priced. – Assist in the organization and maintenance of the shop floor and storage areas. – Collaborate with team members to manage inventory and stock levels. – Provide excellent customer service and support to shoppers. – Adhere to safety and operational procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications: – No formal education required; however, a high school diploma is preferred. – Previous experience in retail, sorting, or warehouse operations is an advantage. – Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks. – Excellent communication and teamwork skills. – A positive attitude and commitment to community service.
