As a Business Support Officer, acts as a central support function for facilities, office operations and selected executive and business support activities, enabling leaders and teams to operate efficiently and focus on strategic priorities. This role helps to ensure our work environments are safe, well maintained and set up to support people to do their best work. The role supports all EDA sites, including those co-located with other businesses within the Envest Group, and works closely with internal teams, building management, and external suppliers.

As a Business Support Officer, you will:
- Manage day to day office operations to ensure all workspaces are clean, organised and functional across all locations, including offices shared with the broader Envest Group.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs and services by partnering with building management, facilities, procurement and approved contractors to fix issues quickly. Record any maintenance or repair requests, monitor their progress, and follow up to ensure work is completed on time and on budget.
- Maintain and support key operational and facilities documentation, such as business continuity plans, emergency procedures or site-specific guides, ensuring easy access, accuracy and currency.
- Support office access management, including keys and security passes, new starter access and basic security procedures.
- Support health, safety and compliance activities, including hazard identification, fire safety checks, evacuation diagrams and compliance signage.
- Support workplace improvement projects, including office set ups, equipment installs and space reconfigurations.
- Coordinate site visitor access, safety briefings and facilities access requirements.
- Record and maintain supplier and contractor details, service agreements and contact information.
- Provide administrative and business support to the Executive team, including, but not limited to:
- Calendar management and coordination of meetings across the Executive Leadership Team
- Scheduling internal and external meetings, forums and offsites
- Support the preparation and coordination of leadership meetings, including room bookings, logistics and materials.
- Assist with event support across the business, including employee events, leadership sessions and site activities (setup, coordination and post event support).
- Support the coordination of domestic travel arrangements for as required, including bookings, itineraries and changes.
- Collect and upload executive expense receipts to the expense management system in a timely manner
What you’ll bring to the role?
- Experience within an operational or support role (desired)
- Experience supporting leaders or executives in an administrative or coordination capacity (desired).
- Experience in Call Centre environment (desired)
- Organised, reliable, and happy to help with a wide range of tasks
- Adaptable, flexible and calm under pressure.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and a practical, can-do attitude
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously and confidentially
- Strong problem solving skills and willingness to help where needed.
