About The Position
We’re looking for a Solutions Lead to support and elevate Entag’s physical security capability across Melbourne. This is a specialist, presales-focused role where you’ll partner with our sales team to design, position and win physical security solutions.
You’ll act as the technical lead across opportunities – translating customer needs into practical, scalable solutions across CCTV, access control and related technologies. A key part of the role is scoping, designing and accurately quoting physical security solutions, ensuring they are both technically sound and commercially viable.
Working closely with sales, engineering and delivery teams, you’ll help ensure solutions are well-designed, aligned to best practice and successfully delivered. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining customer engagement, solution design, and sales support while influencing outcomes without direct account ownership.
In this role you will:
- Design tailored physical security solutions for customer needs
- Partner with Account Managers to support opportunities and drive outcomes
- Lead or support customer presentations, solution walkthroughs, and technical workshops
- Develop proposals, quotes and statements of work
- Act as a trusted advisor on physical security technologies and strategy
- Ensure solutions are practical, scalable and aligned to best practice
- Support delivery teams to ensure successful implementation
- Build strong relationships with vendors and technology partners
- Contribute to pipeline growth through events and customer engagement
- Provide insights on pipeline, forecasting and market trends
We’re Looking For
Someone who combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, and excels at designing smart, client-focused security solutions.
You’ll thrive if you have:
- Strong industry knowledge of physical / electronic security solutions
- Experience conducting site walkthroughs and designing fit-for-purpose security solutions
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarms and related technologies
- Confidence turning site assessments into practical, commercially sound solutions, with clear, simple communication of technical concepts to customers and stakeholders.
- Experience in scoping, costing and building accurate bills of materials for end-to-end physical security solutions
- A collaborative approach with experience working across sales, engineering and delivery teams
- A willingness to travel as part of the role and a valid driver’s licence (car allowance provided)
- Required licences including a White Card, Blue Card, and a Private Security Individual Operator Licence – Security Adviser (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable extras include:
- Experience with cloud-based physical security platforms
- Exposure to vendor management and partnerships
- Previous experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development (BDM)
- 5+ years’ experience in a technical or solutions-focused environment.
