This is an exciting opportunity to join Westug, part of Engage Marine Pty Ltd.

Engage Marine Pty Ltd, is an Australian port operations provider delivering specialised marine services to a variety of industries. Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, Engage Marine also has operational bases throughout Australia including Dampier, Cape Lambert, Carnarvon, Abbot Point, Geelong, Sydney and Whyalla.

We are currently looking for a Site Administrator to support our operations in Cape Lambert, Western Australia. This position has the opportunity to be permanent part-time, for the right candidate.

Note: This role is residential. There will be a preference for the successful candidate to reside in the Wickham / Point Samson / Roebourne areas or relocate if successful.

About the role

Westug are seeking a Site Administrator who will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of port operations. The role will work closely with management across Operations, HR, HSEQ, and Finance and will be instrumental in maintaining compliance, communication, and coordination across teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide general administrative support to site management, including logistics coordination (flights, accommodation, rosters, PPE), document control, and meeting preparation.
  • Maintain accurate records and systems across various internal platforms such as HELM, Payglobal, Concur, and third-party portals, including qualifications and training compliance.
  • Coordinate training and induction bookings and ensure effective internal communication and correspondence.
  • Support supply management for tugs and general office inventory.
  • Promote a positive safety culture through adherence to safety procedures, incident reporting, and proactive hazard management.
  • Ensuring all incidents, near misses and non-conformities are reported in accordance with the relevant procedure.
  • Taking appropriate preventative and corrective action when addressing hazards and incidents.

About you

  • Qualification associated with Office Management/Administration preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience in crew rostering in heavy lift industry preferred.
  • Well-developed organisational and administrative experience, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and control own workload.
  • Able to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • C Class Driver’s License.
