Position Title: Care Support Worker
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time/Part Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Worker to provide personalised care and support to consumers in their homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with personal care, domestic tasks, health monitoring, and providing social and emotional support. The Care Support Worker will also promote independence, ensure safety, maintain positive relationships with consumers and their families, as well as uphold the importance of maintaining client confidentiality and respecting their privacy.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide personal care assistance to consumers
– Assist with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry
– Monitor the health of consumers and report any changes or concerns
– Offer social and emotional support to enhance well-being while maintaining client confidentiality
– Maintain compliance with documentation requirements while upholding client privacy
– Facilitate community access for consumers
– Uphold the visions and values of the organization
Key Selection Criteria:
– Certificate III or IV in individualised support – aged care
– Previous experience working in aged care (highly desirable)
– Ability to engage respectfully with people/families supported
– Understanding of culturally diverse backgrounds
– Valid WA driver’s license and reliable vehicle
– Recent National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
– Current CPR and First Aid certificate
– Legal right to work in Australia

Other Requirements:

-Agreeance & adherence of Encompass Home Care Code of Conduct.
-Provide proof entitlement/rights to work in Australia. It is critical for role continuation.
