This role
As our People Coordinator, you’ll be working with the Performance Operations team, responsible for shaping a world-class shared services model that streamlines processes and enhances employee support. Your role will focus on assisting the team with cyclical processes including but not limited to:
Philippines:
- Onboarding and offboarding processes
- Probations, Promotions and Role Changes
- Other related employee changes – reporting line changes, SSS loan, Pag-IBIG loan queries, leave balance queries, confirmation of employment or statement of service letters, other People related queries
- Annual Income Tax Return (BIR Form processes)
- Annual Physical Examination reporting processes
- Annual Health Insurance enrollment
Australia and New Zealand:
- Onboarding and offboarding processes
- Probations, Promotions and Role Changes
- Other related employee changes – reporting line changes, confirmation of employment or statement of service letters, jury duty letters, other People related queries
This role also has a focus on embedding agentic AI strategies to reduce manual input across the above cyclical processes through:
- Partnering with the Performance Operations team to develop and embed human-designed automations that are scalable, tailored and easily replicated across the above regions.
- Working cross-functionally with stakeholders to decode complexity/ambiguity in People processes and translating it into self-help guides/agents with clarity.
This role must be based in the Philippines.
Who you are
To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way – operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring:
- 2+ years’ experience in dynamic HR, People Operations or Shared Services environment, with broad exposure to the Philippines’ employee lifecycle process + bonus 1 other region (Australia or New Zealand).
- Demonstrated experience as a first point of contact for employee queries, managing and resolving questions around policies, contracts, leave and benefits. You also have great attention to detail and you notice the small stuff that others miss.
- Service desk/ticketing system management experience, delivering timely, accurate and empathetic responses to ensure Heroes feel supported and valued.
- AI Fluency — confident using LLMs and generative tools to refine existing People processes, or develop processes to support scalability.
- Prompt like a pro — shaping effective, structured outputs from AI tools with speed and precision.
