This role
As an Account Executive, you’ll be working with a Sales Manager and the wider team across ANZ and will be instrumental in shaping the future of work for businesses of all sizes by driving business growth, building strong client relationships, and effectively communicating the value of Employment Hero’s platform.
Working hours: This role must be based in Australia.
Your key focus areas will be
- Proactively hunt for new business, manage the full sales cycle (prospecting to closing), and consistently achieve monthly quotas.
- Deliver tailored solutions, conduct impactful demos, and confidently engage with C-suite executives to communicate value and negotiate effectively.
- Partner with the SDR team to qualify opportunities, share insights across ANZ sales, and contribute to overall business growth and client success.
- Leverage CRM tools (Salesforce) for pipeline accuracy, bring proven SaaS/B2B sales experience, and demonstrate ambition, curiosity, and resilience to grow within Employment Hero.
This will include
- Drive new business development through proactive hunting with a consultative approach
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, conducting demos, presenting, and closing deals
- Confidently engage with C-suite executives, showcasing effective presentation skills and adept negotiation techniques
- Collaborate closely with the SDR Team to qualify opportunities and successfully close deals
- Maintain a strong and organised pipeline to consistently meet assigned monthly quotas
- Utilise Salesforce CRM to ensure the accuracy and currency of customer data
Who you are

- Experience in B2B sales, preferably tech/SaaS
- Experience running an end-to-end sales process (closing deals + conducting demos)
