What’s the opportunity?
We are currently seeking a Café Manager to join Veneziano Coffee Roasters (VCR) Surry Hills.
This role is responsible for leading the overall operations and performance of the Veneziano Café. The Café Manager is a ‘hands-on’ position and requires you to be a motivator and mentor to our Surry Hills Café team, furthering the performance and developing the talent of the Veneziano Coffee Roasters family.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Operations – Maintain the Cafe to a high standard of service and presentation.
- Outstanding Service – Promote service excellence and uphold service standards within the Café at all times.
- Leadership – Provide clear development plans for each Cafe employee, promoting retention and employee growth.
- Cost Control – Full accountability for all profit and loss results.
- Local Area Marketing (LAM) & Business Development – Develop and execute a local business development plan.
- Coffee Promotion – Develop market leading coffee program.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a hospitality professional with a proven track record of leading a team of people. You must have a fun personality, a hard-working attitude and impeccable attention to detail. You will have a passion for showcasing the best coffee and hospitality experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior management experience in the hospitality industry within leading hospitality establishments.
- Experience writing and costing rosters and analysing financial reports.
- Success in implementing business development initiatives to drive Café performance.
- Prior experience motivating, mentoring, and developing high performing talent.
- Proven experience translating brand standards into operational action.
