We’re currently seeking an experienced and driven People Leader to take the reins leading our international Spatial Solutions team.

Our team brings strong capability in remote sensing, digital transformation, UAV-enabled mapping and analytics, and digital twin solutions.

Here’s what you can expect in your new role with EMM:

Leadership and Strategy: You’ll lead by example with positive behaviours. You’ll drive the team’s annual planning and strategy, contributing to the Division business plan, budgeting and long-term direction.

People and Performance: In partnership with the Division Leader, Team Leaders and Technical Leaders, you’ll lead team growth and quality of output. You’ll empower and develop Team Leaders, conduct performance reviews, and ensure a culture of feedback and accountability.

Resourcing: With the support of leaders within the team, you’ll ensure clarity of long-term resourcing needs, coordinate workloads, and ensure fair allocation of work, including recruitment strategies to meet workforce demands.

Project Delivery: You’ll act as Project Director or Manager to ensure project success—managing budgets, schedules and outputs.

Business Development: Working closely with technical leaders, market experts and the bids and pursuits team, you will help grow our industry and government networks and convert connections into meaningful opportunities for both the team and business.

Technical Excellence and Outputs: You’ll ensure high-quality deliverables across various mediums, maintaining consistency, accuracy and professional standards.
Here’s what you’ll bring to have impact:
- Previous experience leading high-performing teams and a passion for ensuring a collaborative and respectful culture.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic thinking and business planning.
- A strong focus on people and their ongoing growth and development, including a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Ability to work collaboratively across your Division and EMM more broadly.
- 10 years plus relevant post graduate experience, with previous experience gained within a consultancy environment.
- A passion for all things spatial – geospatial data, web-mapping, field data collection, cartography & more.
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for innovation, with an ability to identify opportunities to showcase what GIS has to offer.
- Ability to manage your own time and priorities effectively.
- Exceptional project management and project delivery skills.
