    We’re looking for you for this highly trusted role. As the Executive Assistant to the Office of the CEO, you’ll work closely with our CEO Liz Webb and be at the centre of EMM’s leadership team, enabling the office of the CEO, Executive and Board to operate with clarity, efficiency and impact.

    Blending traditional EA and Assistant Company Secretary responsibilities, this role offers variety, influence and visibility across all aspects of the business. You’ll act as a key enabler, ensuring seamless coordination, high-quality outputs and proactive support in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

    What you’ll lead with care, passion and drive to augment, create value and have impact:

  • CEO & Executive Support: Proactively manage complex diaries, priorities, travel and daily workflows for the CEO and selected executives—anticipating needs and optimising time and effectiveness.
  • Executive Rhythm & Operations: Coordinate and support weekly Executive meetings and broader leadership cadence—tracking actions, following up on outcomes and helping drive execution.
  • Board & Governance Coordination (Assistant Company Secretary): Play a central role in supporting Board and Committee processes, including, coordinating meeting cycles (Board and Committees), drafting agendas and preparing board packs and minutes, supporting shareholder-related activities.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Interface: Draft, review, and refine communications on behalf of the CEO, ensuring alignment with brand, tone and strategic messaging. Support the coordination of internal communication forums, workshops and activities led by the CEO/Executive Team.
  • Trusted Advisor & Connector: Build strong relationships across the business and act as a key liaison between the CEO, executives, shareholders and Board—connecting the dots, identifying risks/opportunities and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Continuous Improvement:  Identify opportunities to enhance processes, systems and ways of working within the CEO Office to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

    This is a hybrid role with options for working from home and typically 3 days per week in our Sydney office (St Leonards). With offices across Australia, you’ll also have the flexibility to access our wider office network: Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Perth.

    • Proven experience supporting a CEO or senior executive, ideally within a complex, fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrated exposure to Board or governance processes (Assistant Company Secretary experience highly regarded).
    • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with a strong commitment to quality and professionalism.
    • High level of emotional intelligence, judgement, and discretion—able to navigate sensitive situations with confidence.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft polished, executive-level materials.
    • A proactive, agile mindset—comfortable managing shifting priorities and ambiguity.
    • Ability to anticipate needs, think ahead, and problem-solve, rather than react.
    • Confidence building relationships and influencing across a range of stakeholders.
