Eliot Sinclair is a South Island-based multi-disciplinary consultancy with a confirmed forward workload and a growing pipeline of civil infrastructure and land development projects.
We’re looking for a civil engineer based in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering, or finishing it soon. You might be in your final year of study or in the first few years of your career. Either way, you’re keen to build practical experience, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to high-quality outcomes.
Please note; we can only consider applicants who are currently living in New Zealand.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working on civil infrastructure and land development projects: roading, drainage, stormwater, wastewater, and water reticulation.
- Preparing designs, tender documentation, and schedules of prices (with support and mentoring).
- Getting out on site and seeing your work through to completion.
- Collaborating with clients, project managers, and specialists from across our disciplines.
What We’re After
- A Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering, or you’re close to finishing.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication skills and a team mindset (a sense of humour helps too).
