Description

The Electrical Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, allocation, and administrative functions of the service division working alongside our team of service managers and full time scheduler. This role ensures efficient deployment of technicians, timely delivery of service and maintenance works, accurate job management, and strong communication between clients, field staff, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate scheduling and allocation of preventative maintenance and reactive service works
  • Manage technician workloads to meet client timeframes and service level expectations
  • Monitor daily schedules and adjust priorities in real time to respond to urgent or changing requirements
  • Liaise with clients and technicians regarding job progress, service delivery, and scheduling updates
  • Maintain accurate service records, preventative maintenance documentation, and job compliance requirements
  • Ensure all jobs are accurately closed out, including labour entries, job notes, photos, and client sign-off
  • Follow up outstanding works to ensure timely completion and maintain service commitments
  • Create, update, and manage job orders using service management systems
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation to support invoicing and reporting requirements

The Basic Requirements:

  • Experience in a scheduling, coordination, or service administration role (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or similar trade environment preferred)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in job management and data entry
  • Proficiency with computer systems and job management software
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

The Highly Regarded:

  • Understanding of electrical trade terminology and workflows
  • Experience with service management software (e.g., SimPRO, ServiceM8, Aroflo, or similar). We use Ascora!
  • Previous exposure to electrical contracting or construction industry
  • Knowledge of WHS and compliance requirements in trade services
