The Role
We’re looking for a Content Manager based in Sydney who is first and foremost a content creator and storyteller.
This is not a “strategy-only” role – you’ll be hands-on creating high-quality, engaging content across multiple formats, while owning the end-to-end content lifecycle and shaping how efex shows up in market.
You’ll work closely with Marketing, Sales, and subject matter experts to bring products, services and technical solutions to life, turning complex IT, cybersecurity, and managed services into purposeful content that educates, engages, and converts.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and execute efex’s content strategy and editorial calendar
- Create high-quality content across formats: articles, case studies, landing pages, social content, video scripts, and campaigns
- Translate complex IT solutions into clear, engaging, audience-friendly content
- Lead efex’s organic social presence, including storytelling, publishing, and optimisation
- Partner with Sales and SMEs to develop insightful, authoritative and engaging thought leadership content
- Optimise content for SEO and evolving AI-driven search (AEO/GEO)
- Manage content production end-to-end, including agencies and creative partners
About You
You’re not just a marketer, you’re a natural storyteller and creator who knows how to make content land.
- 4–7+ years in content, editorial, or marketing roles (ideally B2B tech, MSP, or complex solutions)
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills – you know how to simplify the complex and be relevant to your audience
- Proven ability to create content that engages and converts across the funnel
- Experience managing organic social channels and content performance
- Strong understanding of SEO and emerging AI-driven discovery trends
- Comfortable working with SMEs, sales teams, and stakeholders across the business
- Experience with AI content and design tools and/or graphic design capability is highly regarded
