The Role

We’re looking for an Account Manager – Healthcare to manage and grow relationships with private practices, specialist clinics, and allied health providers. 

This is more than a traditional account management role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, understanding how healthcare practices operate and identifying opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and patient outcomes through technology. Based in South Melbourne.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with healthcare clients as their primary point of contact
  • Understand practice workflows and identify inefficiencies or improvement opportunities
  • Conduct regular account reviews and maintain a strong engagement cadence
  • Partner with Service Delivery teams to ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively
  • Identify growth opportunities within accounts through solution-based selling
  • Present and position efex solutions across Cloud, Modern Workplace, Cybersecurity, Networking, and Unified Comms
  • Educate clients on new technologies and how they integrate with practice systems
  • Support onboarding and technology transitions for new clients

About You

  • Experience in account management, customer success, or practice management within healthcare
  • Strong understanding of how healthcare practices operate (GP, specialist, or allied health)
  • Confident engaging with practice managers, partners, and clinical staff
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business benefits
  • Commercial mindset with experience identifying growth opportunities
  • Strong communication skills—professional, personable, and credible
  • Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and priorities

Highly Regarded

  • MSP or IT solutions experience
  • Exposure to healthcare systems such as Best Practice, Genie, Medical Director, Clinic to Cloud
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance and data privacy requirements
  • Experience selling or supporting technology within healthcare environments
