About Thrive, St Marys
Located in Western Sydney, our centre is licenced for 58 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
First opened in 2018, the centre has three rooms for children and a generous outdoor play space for children to explore.
Thrive, St Marys is on a quiet street and offers on-site parking for staff.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for someone with an interest in early education and is ready to start their career in the sector.
This traineeship will see you be part of a dynamic early learning group that is renowned for its passion and investment in their people.
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a role for those already enrolled and studying towards their Certificate III qualification.
Your role as a Trainee:
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families and fellow educators
- Actively contribute to the educational program, observations and documentation using informal opportunities to communicate regularly about children’s progress to families
- Provide assistance to other Educators in the room
- Maintain a positive working relationship with team members
- Maintain effective communication with parents
- Prepare the children’s play and learning materials for the day’s experiences.
- Guide children through daily routines and rituals. Be part of the experience as children explore their environment

The successful candidate must:
- Have a genuine interest in a long-term career in the Early Childhood Education sector
- Be able to commit to a 12-18 month traineeship program
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
