Inspire calm, movement, and mindfulness in children
across Weldon Children’s Services!
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Yoga Instructor to deliver engaging,
child-focused yoga and mindfulness sessions across our OOSH and children’s
services programs in the Inner West of Sydney.
This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about
supporting children’s wellbeing, emotional regulation, and physical development
through creative and inclusive movement practices.

Outside School Hours Care (OOSH) and children’s programs, committed to
delivering safe, engaging, and enriching experiences. Our practice is guided by

improvement.
About the Role
This is a part-time position (15 hours per week, Monday to
Friday).
As the Yoga Instructor, you will:
- Deliver
engaging, age-appropriate yoga and mindfulness sessions for school-aged
children
- Support
children to develop emotional regulation, body awareness, and relaxation
skills
- Create
safe, inclusive, and calm learning environments
- Adapt
sessions to meet the needs of different age groups and abilities
- Work
collaboratively with educators to embed wellbeing practices into daily
programming
- Promote
positive mental health, resilience, and wellbeing

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A
qualified Yoga Instructor (children’s yoga or mindfulness certification
highly regarded)
- Experienced
working with children in educational, recreation, or wellbeing settings
- Calm,
engaging, and adaptable in their approach
- Passionate
about children’s wellbeing and mindfulness
- A
strong communicator who works well within a team environment
- Committed
to child safe practice and inclusive education
Essential Requirements
- Working
With Children Check (WWCC)
- First
Aid & CPR certification
- Completion
of GECCKO Child Safe Training (mandatory prior to commencement or
willingness to complete prior to start date)
