Trades Assistant *Must have Autralian Working Rights*

Summary:

We are seeking Casual Trades Assistants to support our team with large scale solar Projects around the Port Macquarie and Forster area approximately March – June 2026. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople in their daily activities, ensuring a smooth workflow. It is ideal for those looking to gain experience in the trades industry while enjoying flexible working hours.

Mon-Fri 10-30hrs pw @ $33ph inclusive of industry allowance. +12% Superannuation.

Responsibilities:

– Assist tradespeople with laborious tasks

– Setup and Set down of safety equipment

– Maintain a clean and organised work environment

– Handle tools and equipment safely and effectively

– Support the team in loading and unloading materials

– Follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols

– Report issues or concerns to the supervisor

Qualifications:

– A background in manual labour is advantageous

– NSW White Card and Working At Heights Course highly advantageous

– Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential

– Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in trades

– Ability to understand and follow instructions closely

– Ability to work independently or in a team as required

– Physical fitness and ability to perform highly manual tasks outdoors
