About EatClub

EatClub is a fast-growing tech company with global ambitions, co-founded by legendary chef Marco Pierre White and industry experts. We’re on a mission to revolutionise the hospitality industry, helping restaurants boost profitability through smart, dynamic pricing.

Our platform powers thousands of venues across Australia and has recently launched in the UK, connecting over 2 million customers with top restaurants and exclusive real-time deals.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • Be part of an innovative company shaping the future of dining
  • Autonomy, flexibility, and a collaborative culture
  • A passionate team who values creativity, hustle and results
  • Access to some of the best restaurants and hospitality leaders in the industry

A Day-in-a-Life of our IT Operations Manager

EatClub has an ambitious growth plan for 2026, and we need a robust IT setup to allow us to scale and run smoothly. Our IT Operations Manager will be at the centre of this operation, ensuring that the team has the right tools-of-trade, security training and solutions to technical issues.

On any given week, you will be:

  • Tools of Trade: owning the entire supply chain for tools-of-trade and devices across the organisation – including laptops, computers, peripherals, mobile phones, etc. This also includes office internet connectivity, Wifi, relevant VPN and online/roaming connectivity, security and access.
  • Platform and access management: Act as the central operating hub for company-wide IT and SaaS platforms (including Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, and others), managing user accounts, group structures, and security access controls across the organisation.
  • Team IT Helpdesk: Build and lead a centralised IT helpdesk that supports team members with troubleshooting, technical requests, and device management, ensuring everyone stays productive and has fast access to the tools and support they need.
  • Cybersecurity setup and training: Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices across our devices and networks. Conduct regular security audits, monitor emerging threats, and put controls in place to mitigate risk. Source or create training to ensure strong cybersecurity awareness across the organisation.
  • Compliance: Supporting the implementation and maintenance of our ISO27001 and SOC2 compliance.

This is a part-time role, 4 hours a day.

Ideally, you will work on alternate days (9am to 1pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 6 to 10pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays to cover our team in the UK).

We will give preference to candidates who can work from our offices in Bondi Junction.

You have….

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience building or running a centralised IT helpdesk or internal support function, with a strong focus on responsiveness, reliability, and minimising downtime.
  • A pragmatic, people-first, service-oriented mindset that balances security, compliance, and productivity, keeping teams safe without slowing them down.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and SaaS platforms, with the ability to diagnose root causes rather than apply surface fixes.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security, identity and access management, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and network security in a modern cloud-first environment.
  • Demonstrated experience owning the end-to-end lifecycle of company devices and tools-of-trade, including procurement, provisioning, lifecycle management, security, and decommissioning.
  • Experience managing and administering company-wide SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and other business-critical tools.
  • Ability to act as a central access and permissions authority, ensuring the right people have fast, secure access to the tools they need to be productive.
  • Experience creating, sourcing, or delivering security awareness and IT training that is practical, accessible, and adopted by teams.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity policies, controls, and best practices across devices, networks, and cloud-based systems
  • Hands-on experience conducting security audits, monitoring emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and implementing practical risk mitigation measures
  • Experience supporting or owning ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance, including control implementation, evidence collection, and ongoing operational maintenance.

It would be extra awesome if you also had…

  • Familiarity with lean startup methodologies or working in environments with limited resources.
  • A proven track record, and enthusiasm, for setting up systems from scratch.
  • Proven experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, with the ability to motivate and inspire others with exceptional customer service orientation

If you do a good job…

This role is very varied and has a lot of autonomy, more than any position at this level would typically have. It is also a position that requires a high level of organisation, triaging abilities and communication skills. Similar roles at EatClub have been amazing trampolines for the people in them, as they showcase a range of abilities and talents that are absent in other parts of the business.

Maybe this role is not for you if….

  • You easily get overwhelmed by working on a number of projects at the same time.
  • You need a lot of direction or structure for daily tasks – our team is very autonomous.
  • You are uncomfortable with ambiguity or fast pivots

Why You Will Love EatClub

  • Join a fast-growing Australian start up expanding across the UK and AU
  • Clear ownership and growth opportunities
  • Work with a supportive, collaborative leadership team
  • Your work has immediate impact in a fun, energetic environment
  • Staff discounts and dining vouchers to enjoy through EatClub

One last note: even if you feel that you don’t meet all the criteria above, we encourage you to apply. Past work experience is not the only indicator of future success, and we are on the look out for hungry talent who wants to grow with us. So if you want to be a part of something remarkable, then we’re excited to hear from you.
