About Us:

At Easy Signs, we’re proud to be a leading Australian online signage company. Based in Smeaton Grange, we’re a fast-growing business with a strong focus on continuous improvement, innovation and teamwork.

We’re looking for a proactive HR & Safety Advisor to join the team in a true hybrid role, supporting both workplace safety and core HR operations. If you enjoy being on the ground, solving problems and making a real impact across people and processes, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

Safety

  • Manage workers’ compensation cases end-to-end, including lodgements, case reviews and return-to-work plans
  • Coordinate and support WHS audits across office and production environments
  • Maintain and update Safe Work Instructions and safety documentation
  • Prepare monthly safety reports and facilitate Safety Committee meetings
  • Coordinate safety training (including fire safety and CPR) for appointed Safety Officers
  • Deliver toolbox talks and internal safety training sessions
  • Conduct WHS inductions for new starters

HR

  • Run HR inductions and support onboarding
  • Support end to end recruitment for operational roles
  • Manage offboarding and exit interviews
  • Oversee the HR inbox and provide timely support to employee queries
  • Maintain accurate HR records
  • Assist with policy updates in line with Fair Work and employment legislation
  • Maintain HR process documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide support across broader HR projects and ad hoc activities

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR / WHS Advisor role, ideally within a production, manufacturing or operational environment
  • Hands-on experience managing workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes end-to-end
  • Solid working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and Fair Work requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels
  • Proficient in Google Suite and HR management software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

What this role will come with:

  • Real ownership across both HR and Safety – not just admin support
  • Strong exposure to operations in a fast-paced production environment
  • Opportunity to influence systems, processes and safety culture
  • Down-to-earth, supportive team that backs each other
  • Growing business with genuine scope to develop your role
  • Monthly lunches, recognition programs and team perks
