About the role
As the Centre Director / Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and strategic direction of our childcare centre in Botany, NSW. This is a full-time role that oversees all aspects of the centre’s operations, from staffing and compliance to business growth and community engagement.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide strategic leadership to the centre team, fostering a positive, collaborative and professional culture
- Manage all operational aspects of the centre, including staffing, budgets, compliance, and quality improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals and growth targets
- Build strong relationships with families, the local community and regulatory authorities
- Ensure the centre meets all legislative and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the educational program and monitor the quality of care provided
- Lead, coach and develop the centre team to reach their full potential
What we’re looking for
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education and Care or a related field
- Working With Children Check
- 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role within the childcare industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework and other relevant legislation & NQF
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for providing high-quality early education and care
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
