Accounts Receivable Officer

Description

Duffy & Simon, a progressive leader in the legal industry with nearly 50 years’ experience and we require a dedicated accounts receivable officer 2 -3 days per week. This position is newly created to accommodate the business growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic Team ensuring that arrears are kept at an appropriate level. The purpose of this position is to maximize recovery rates, enter into negotiations and decision making in relation to payment arrangements, settlement offers and resolving or escalating any issues that arise associated with the debt collection. You will work closely with Partners and lawyers to gain their insights and support.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing outstanding accounts including client calls and correspondence
  • Negotiate and setup of payment plans and settlements with clients
  • Delivering exceptional customer conversations
  • Regular reporting to Partnership group
  • Adhere to all regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collections performance
  • Your Profile

    This role is well suited to someone who has proven experience in a similar role with excellent written and oral communication skills. This role is well suited to someone who is looking for work life balance in a supporting fast-paced environment.
