The Role
As F&B team leader, you are responsible for leading the team to provide the best service, making sure guests feel right at home. We’re talking daily operations, supporting the team and providing our guests with a positive Drifter experience. Working alongside the F&B Supervisor you’ll reinforce
high standards and foster a positive team culture.
You’ll lead the food and bar service, supports your food and beverage team and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with the F&B team under the guidance of the operations and duty managers, to focus on maintaining high standards and fostering a positive team culture.
This is a casual role with a mix of evening and weekend shifts. Drifter’s vibe is relaxed and social, but our standards are high.
Who We Are Looking For
You love the buzz of a busy environment. You’re proactive, hands-on, and passionate about great hospitality. A natural team player, you support your team while leading from the front. You build genuine connections with guests and deliver friendly, personalised experiences.
With strong leadership and communication skills, you keep your team motivated, manage workloads, and maintain high service standards. You stay calm under pressure, solve problems quickly, and keep operations running smoothly. You’re confident with menu knowledge, upselling, and handling transactions and day-to-day responsibilities.
You take pride in a clean, safe, and organised environment, and lead by example when it comes to policies and training. You’re flexible with availability and able to work a rotating roster including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
