Are you a compassionate, organised nurse with a passion for primary healthcare? Family Practice Medical Centres (FPMC) is seeking a motivated and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our collaborative clinical team. You’ll work alongside experienced GPs and allied health professionals in a fast-paced, supportive treatment room environment where patient care always comes first.
About the Role
As part of our Treatment Room team, you will:
• Provide general practice nursing care including immunisations, wound care, ECGs, spirometry and pathology collection
• Support doctors with minor procedures and urgent care
• Assist with chronic disease and preventative health management
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure efficient and quality patient flow
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Medical Director and Pracsoft
• Champion infection control, cold chain compliance and clinical best practices
What You’ll Need
Essential:
• Current AHPRA registration
• Current CPR certification
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Demonstrated experience in a general practice or primary care setting
• Strong knowledge of immunisation protocols and chronic disease care
• Excellent communication and time management skills
Preferred:
• Familiarity with Medical Director and Pracsoft software
• Experience with Medicare item claiming processes (e.g. GPMPs, TCAs)
• Ability to work across multiple clinic locations
