Description

DPN Is Growing

Growth needs financial discipline. We’re looking for the person to refine and scale it.

We’re an established property investment, finance and property management group based in Cronulla, with a 70+ strong team, significant growth plans and a clear transformation agenda in motion.

Now we’re strengthening the engine behind it. Our reporting, our controls, our systems and the way financial information drives decision-making across the group.

Why This Role Exists

It’s a critical hire for the next phase of DPN’s growth. We’re deliberately separating strategy from execution in finance, creating clearer ownership, with this role leading execution and contributing to strategic outcomes.

This role exists to take full ownership of the operational finance function so our CFO can focus on forward-looking growth, capital strategy and business performance.

As our Finance Lead, you’ll own the execution layer of finance across a multi-entity business. Reporting, compliance, controls and process. The work behind the scenes that gives leadership clarity and confidence to scale.

You’ll work directly with our CFO, freeing them from day-to-day operations and enabling a sharper focus on strategy.  Working with the Accounts Assistant to ensure accuracy, consistency, evolution and continuous improvement in financial processes.  If you value structure, accuracy and building systems that actually hold as a business grows, keep reading.

What You’ll Drive

This role has real ownership and impact where you’ll:

  • Own month-end across all entities and deliver accurate, timely reporting
  • Produce management reports and meaningful variance analysis
  • Maintain group consolidation and manage intercompany structures
  • Ensure compliance across BAS, GST, payroll tax and ASIC requirements
  • Oversee commission and revenue controls to protect accuracy and integrity
  • Strengthen cashflow visibility, forecasting and budget tracking
  • Improve and document processes that scale with the business
  • Implement controls, checklists and clear financial discipline
  • Improve systems, reporting efficiency and data reliability

You’ll Love This If You…

  • Take pride in clean numbers and structured reporting
  • Like owning outcomes, not just contributing to them
  • See inefficiency and instinctively want to fix it
  • Balance detail with commercial awareness
  • Are comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders
  • Prefer clarity, accountability and low-ego environments
  • Care about building something properly, not patching it together

Life at DPN

We have an experienced leadership team, low turnover and a culture people genuinely enjoy being part of. Good humans matter here, and we hire carefully because of it. We’re professional, ambitious and supportive of each other.

  • Full time or part time considered
  • Flexibility, including hybrid working
  • Paid birthday leave
  • Regular team celebrations
  • Employee Assistance Program
