📍 Pharmacist In Charge – Full Time | Tully LiveLife Pharmacy

We are seeking a Full Time Pharmacist in Charge to lead our well-established, community-focused pharmacy in Tully, North Queensland.
In this role, you will take ownership of a busy, well-supported pharmacy dispensing approximately 200–250 scripts per day, operating on the FRED dispensing system, and offering a broad range of professional services including vaccinations, medicinal cannabis, Opioid Substitution Program, and Dose Administration Aids. You’ll work a full-time 38-hour week across a 5-day roster with alternating Saturdays, with the added benefit of being closed on Sundays, supporting genuine work–life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing, workflow management, and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with all professional, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Manage, mentor, and support pharmacy staff, including rostering and professional development
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with legislative standards
- Deliver and grow professional services including vaccinations, medicinal cannabis, Opioid Substitution Program, and DAAs
- Provide high-quality clinical advice and exceptional customer service
- Build strong relationships with local prescribers and healthcare providers
- Stay current with developments in pharmacy practice and regulatory changes
What we’re looking for:
This role is ideal for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge or a confident pharmacist ready to step into a leadership position and make a real impact in a regional community.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD
- Current General AHPRA registration
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a registered pharmacist
- Experience as a Pharmacist in Charge, or readiness to step into a leadership role
- Strong people leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A patient-first mindset and commitment to high-quality care
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
- Experience with FRED dispensing software (highly regarded)
