Gordonvale Discount Drug Store is seeking a friendly, reliable Part-Time Pharmacist to join our supportive community pharmacy team. This role is ideal for a pharmacist looking for consistent part-time hours with flexibility to assist during staff leave periods.
About the Role
As a Pharmacist at Gordonvale Discount Drug Store, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and professional pharmacy services. You’ll be responsible for safe and accurate dispensing, providing medication advice, and supporting both customers and team members in a busy community pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and in accordance with professional standards
- Provide advice on medication use, drug interactions, and potential side effects
- Ensure patients receive the correct medication and dosage
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate records
- Deliver excellent customer service and patient-focused care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
- Stay up to date with new medications and developments in the pharmaceutical industry
- Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians and other staff
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
- Strong knowledge of medications and their clinical use
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced community pharmacy setting
