Responsibilities
We’re on the lookout for a talented and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
If you love being in the kitchen, enjoy a bit of hustle, and take pride in sending out dishes that look as good as they taste. We’re after someone who’s got a great work ethic, an eye for detail, and a genuine love for food and hospitality. You don’t have to know everything—we’re big on
growth, learning, and backing each other up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and plate food items according to recipes and presentation standard
- Lead your section and support junior team members during service
- Keep your work area clean, safe, and compliant with hygiene and safety regulation
- Contribute ideas and assist in developing new menus and special
- Take ownership of your section during peak periods to ensure efficient service
- Monitor food storage, rotation and stock levels
- Assist with stocktake and ordering when needed
- Work across breakfast, conference and events and dinner service
- Work closely with the Head Chef on improving kitchen practices and food delivery
About you
- A diploma or formal qualification in Culinary Arts (or related field).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Solid leadership and communication skills to guide junior team members.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards under pressure.
- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices (HACCP).
- Full availability across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
