As an Associate Adviser, you’ll play a key role in supporting the advice delivery process, working closely with Advisers to manage client accounts from start to finish. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team of Client Service Officers and other Associates; all while being mentored by a group of expert Advisers. Your role will include:
- Participating in client meetings and providing support to the Adviser
- Preparing proposals, modelling, projections, executive summary presentations of advice,
and review presentations
- Assisting with preparation of Statement of Advice (SOA) requests and liaise with paraplanning team on related strategies
- Developing holistic, tax effective strategies across clients’ entities (new or existing)
in accordance with current legislative framework
- Maintaining technical knowledge base and update Adviser on any legislative changes
- Managing workflow between client, Adviser, paraplanning, compliance and client services

You will be successful in this role because you are:
- Tertiary qualified or working towards a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Finance, Commerce
etc.)
- Experienced working in the financial planning industry
- Experienced with Xplan
- Tech savvy and know your way around the Microsoft suite – Work, Outlook, Excel
- An enthusiastic and innovative individual with a can-do attitude
- A great communicator with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A highly organised individual with a strong attention to detail
