Are you a Psychologist, Counsellor or Social Worker (or related Allied Health professional) with significant leadership experience looking for a chance to combine your clinical and management skills to make a difference for local community? This might be the role for you!

Reporting to the CEO your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Lead and manage the clinical, operational and financial performance of our Counselling, Wellbeing and Emergency Relief programs.
  • Be responsible for the successful performance of our Social Support Services Contract with Manningham City Council.
  • Lead further development of the business modelling and establish Fee based / Medicare billed Clinical Psychology as part of our Counselling Program.
  • Develop and maintain effective external stakeholder relationships. Collaborate with colleagues as a key member of the Doncare Senior Leadership team.
  • To be successful in this role you will have;

    • Tertiary qualification/s in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling (or related Allied Health) and registration with a relevant professional body.

    • A combination of strong clinical and therapeutic expertise along with sound business acumen, the appetite to lead change and passion to establish a new financially viable program.

    • Extensive clinical experience and demonstrated ability to lead high quality safe and effective care for a broad range of clients and presenting issues.

    • Sound management experience to deliver effective contractual performance.

    • Demonstrated leadership skills coupled with the ability to motivate and mentor staff and build an effective team with a culture of high performance.

      This role is classified at SCHADS Level 8 ($65.39 per hour) and is full time however we would consider 0.9 EFT.
