About the Role

As Djirra’s Receptionist and Administrator, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a warm, professional welcome and ensuring everyone is connected efficiently to the right programs and services. This role is central to keeping our head office running smoothly — managing reception, coordinating enquiries, supporting meetings and events, maintaining supplies and systems, and assisting with day to day office, facilities, and fleet coordination. With a mix of frontline service and behind the scenes administration, you’ll help create a well organised, welcoming environment that supports Djirra’s staff and the community we serve.

Requirements

Essential

  • A Victorian Employees Working with Children’s Check card or willing to obtain one
  • Willing to obtain a Police Check at Djirra’s expense
  • Driver’s License
  • A current driver’s licence is essential. Some out-of-hours travel, regular regional travel and/or overnights may be required.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing reception services.

Desirable

  • Experience in an Aboriginal Community Controlled, legal and/or community setting.
  • Diploma in business administration (or equivalent qualification)
