Finance & Payroll Assistant 

Full Time  Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm  Warragul Office 

Join Disability Connect Australia, the parent organisation of Disability Connect Victoria (DCV) and Community Connect Victoria (CCV), and help support the finance and payroll functions that keep our services running smoothly. 

We are looking for a proactive and organised Finance & Payroll Assistant to support both our finance operations and payroll processes. This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone who enjoys working across different tasks and teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist with accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and financial recordkeeping  
  • Assist with maintaining accurate financial data and documentation  
  • Support payroll processing and employee payroll administration  
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance and payroll teams  
  • Assist with maintaining payroll compliance and employee records  
  • Support finance systems and day-to-day operational tasks as required  

What You’ll Bring 

  • Previous experience in a finance, payroll, or administration support role (2+ years preferred)  
  • Certificate IV or higher in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a similar field (preferred)  
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy  
  • Good communication and organisational skills  
  • Experience using Xero, 2CloudNine Payroll, Lumary/Salesforce, and Microsoft Excel or similar systems  
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities  
  • Intermediate computer skills  
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support the wider team  
  • Commitment to confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information  

Candidates with experience in the NDIS, TAC or WorkSafe Attendant Care industry within a registered NDIS Business are highly encouraged to apply.
