Disability Support Worker Opportunities!

Camillo:

  • Day shifts: 8:00am–4:00pm (Monday–Friday)
  • Sleepover: Tuesday (4:00pm–8:00am)
  • Requirements: escalation experience, ability to plan activities, follows protocols well, creative, and confident managing behaviours

Thornlie:

  • Day shifts: 8:00am–4:00pm (Monday–Friday)
  • Sleepovers: Monday and Saturday Night Live
  • Requirements: follows routine well, proactive, promotes positive behaviour

Midvale

  • 9:00am–5:00pm and 5:00pm–9:00am
  • Requirement: experienced in behaviours and de-escalation

Caversham

  • 7:45am–5:00pm (Tuesday–Friday)
  • 9:00am–5:00pm (Saturday–Sunday)
  • Sleepover: 5:00pm–9:00am
  • Community: 10:00am–2:00pm
  • Requirements: personal care experience, ability to support
  • multiple clients, strong behaviour management
  • Indigenous experience is desirable but not essential

Byford

  • Day shifts: 8:00am–4:00pm
  • Sleepover: 4:00pm–8:00am
  • Requirements: strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • Experience working with Indigenous and/or New Zealand clients is a plus

You will need to have

  • Current First Aid Certificate, CPR certificate Medication Competency, NDIS Orientation Modules, Infection Control Certificate, Manual Handling Certificate & Medication Certificate
  • Minimum qualification at Certificate III level in one of the following: Mental Health, Mental Health Peer Work, Community Services, Disability, Aged Care/HACC or Allied Health Assistant (Devoted will consider students currently studying one of the above or similar qualifications).
  • Current and valid drivers license & comprehensively insured vehicle.
