About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Sterilisation Nurse to join our Balwyn team. Your role will be vital in maintaining the highest standards of infection control and sterilisation, ensuring safe and seamless patient care every day.
You will:
- Manage the sterilisation and preparation of dental instruments in line with ADA and infection control standards
- Oversee the cleaning, disinfecting, packaging, and storage of all instruments and equipment
- Maintain meticulous sterilisation logs, compliance records, and documentation
- Support the clinical team by preparing trays and instruments for patient procedures
- Ensure the sterilisation room and equipment remain organised, safe, and fully operational
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have prior experience in sterilisation and infection control (dental or healthcare setting preferred)
- Hold a Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent with sterilisation experience)
- Are detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining strict hygiene standards
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced, premium clinic environment
- Bring a proactive attitude, great teamwork, and a passion for patient safety
